Driving pedicabs is Fun! Taking tourists and locals alike all over town and sharing Chattanooga with them. Plus, you get exercise and get paid, quite well, to do it!
Driver rent the bikes from Buzz pedicabs. Drivers can take the bikes out anytime they want, for as long as they want. There is also an online scheduling system for the drivers to reserve a bike. There is no charge for the rides it is strictly done for tips.
Do you need to be in shape ? No, but you will get in shape !
Easy steps to becoming a driver:
Must have a valid drivers license, must be 21 years old.
Interview with the Buzz Chattanooga pedicab owners Thor and Christina.
If you do well in the interview you will get the paperwork for the TBI background check and the City of Chattanooga 8 page pedicab drivers application.
You will have to fax the TBI background check in and go to Physicians care at Hamilton place mall for a DOT physical including the drug and alcohol screening.
The entire process can be completed in 1 day and costs $ 133.
Upon completion you will spend some time out on the road in training either with Thor or Christina or another lead driver.
